What is Amazon Local Grants?
|
Amazon Local Grants is a closed funding program — only organizations nominated by Amazon can take part. For International Funding, the process runs via an auxiliary agent contract with Haus des Stiftens für Unternehmen & Non Profits gGmbH. The next steps:

Step 1 — Registration
Via foerder.app create your organization profile (contact details, bank details, description, logo/photos), set up at least one funding area, and add a project including its financing requirements
(title, description, location, contact person, photos).
|
Proof of charitable status: When registering the organization we also require statutes, proof of legally binding representation (e.g. commercial register extract or board resolution), and where applicable proof of ownership/shareholder structure. The review takes longer due to additional compliance checks — please start early.

Step 2 — Funding application
Once profile, funding area and project are published: select "Funding applications" → "New funding application". Enter both of the following numbers in the form, assign the project, accept the conditions and submit the application.

Step 3 — Funding agreement
You'll receive a funding agreement via DocuSign between your organization and Haus des Stiftens (payments, obligations, reporting obligations, repayment). The authorized signatories on file can sign it.
